The difference between a fully-dosed label and a proprietary blend, and why it's worth checking.
Two supplements can list the same ingredients and still be very different products, depending on how the label discloses amounts.
A proprietary blend lists a combined total weight for a group of ingredients, without breaking out each one's individual amount. You know the ingredients are present, but not how much of each — which makes it impossible to compare against published research.
A label like JellyBlue's states each ingredient's own milligram amount — 200mg of Tongkat Ali, 100mg of Maca Root, and so on for every active. That transparency lets you actually evaluate the formula against the research literature on each ingredient.
A fully-dosed label doesn't guarantee a formula works, but it does mean the company is willing to be checked. That's a meaningfully different posture than a blend that keeps amounts hidden.
